Construction Details:

My take on D, some parts based on the Bloodlust anime, the majority taken from Amano artwork.

My first attempt to do resin casting (the shoulder armor) and relatively serious props (the sword). Base of the sword was cut from wood by my friend Jeff, and I sculpted everything else around it.

Personal Thoughts:

D's fun. I really should remake him (the disadvantage of early attempts on things..time isn't kind to them!), but I'm saving that task for a special time, when I can really go to town on it. It may also not be worn by me, but by Darieum, who at 6'3" has a chance to bring the classic hunter to life in a way I probably can't...mostly 'cause I'mma girl :)
