his I actually did more making than my first outfit (as in actually making the whole outfit like cosplayers are supposed to do, however, I did had to ask on how to use a sewing machine and how to cutt a pattern, other than that I did all the work). I kinda did it at the last minute, but I can probably do better so I might do a remake of this. Basically, I used a southern bell dress pattern for the bottom. The top I used a women's vest pattern, the same one I used for my Yamcha outfit. Wig, I bought from coxworkx.com and styled it with hairspray and bobbypins alone. Red and burgandy cotton was used for the dress, dark sea green for her shorter, upper part (which was gathered together). White, cover tape was used for the vest, around the outside and sleeves. The epulets consisted of gold fabric covering the rectangular part, gold christmas ornament attachment glued with that thingee (forgot what it was called) that was also a christmas ornament. I really do want to remake that part for sure. The crown varies. First, it was made the same way as the epulets then later, I made it out of gold posterboard. Jewlry was bought with posterboard backing and a gold cord. I can point out the many mistakes I made on this and still wont be pleased. But that is what I get for my first cosplay outfit I made.
