Construction Details:

Oddly enough, this costumes was -reeeeeeally- easy to make. I just picked up some white material, green material, white ribbon, and a gauzy red scarf at Wal-Mart, and winged the whole dang thing! The skirt pleats are all hand-ironed, and the skirt mearly snaps on/off. I always see Kagome cosplayers with these long-waisted tops, but I always though Kagome's fuku cut off right at the skirt, and was high-waisted, which is how I made the top (and why I wear a white tank underneath). The wristbands are sewed on, but snap tight around the wrist, to secure themselves, and line up the ribbon. As for the sailor collor, it's entirely snap-on/off, and the kerchief is sewed on. I just pullit over my head, snap it into place, and pull the kerchied through the knot. The wig is just a spare black wig I had lying around, so I re-styled it. The uniform shoes, I bought at Wal-Mart, but I had to do some hunting to find a long enough pair of socks. I finished the costume in one day.
