I used an old school uniform blouse as a pattern when making the top. Only thing is, I had to make the V-neck line longer for the challenging collar. The skirt was made out of the Butterick Pattern #3088 (Skirt C) only it was made really, really short from the original design. Both the blouse and the skirt were made from a forest green gabardine (not poly poplins fabric as I had stated on my website), that I managed to get for $1.99 a yard when the Fabric Outlet was having its 40% sale. :) Finding the right green for the costume was a challenge. There were some greens that were either too dark, or too light. The socks are not socks. They're just black legwarmers. Last but not least, the recording robot that I wear is actually the real one that I purchased from eBay way back when.
