Construction Details:

This costume was hard to make, but so fun to wear! Painting my face red, wearing pointy ears, a goatee, feather boas, and thigh high boots- what's not to love? The dress was the easiest part. I used pretty much the same pattern I used for Mandy (just made the skirt flare less). I cut up an old pair of red tights and attached them to a camisole to cover my arms. This was such a pain. I'll probably just buy a red leotard for the next time I wear it. The wig was made by hand-sewing black felt to a wig cap. This, too, was a pain. But the biggest pain had to be the claws. It took me several tries to get them right- and I'm still not happy with them. They need to be bigger!

Personal Thoughts:

Just added pictures from SDCC 2008, when I met Craig McCracken (#9) and Tom Kane (#10)! An awesome experience.
