Construction Details:

For AX 2000, MIAR wanted to do something original. Being the leader of the group, I had to look for a group of three girls to cosplay..that relatively fit our personalities. It was harder than I thought...I also wanted someone who was dark like me, to make the cosplay work. I guess I passed my El Hazard poster one day...and ta da! The idea for Shayla emerged! And Afura and Miz fit my two companions perfectly....Afura was quiet..and Shayla was crazy, and Miz boy crazy! These costumes turned out rather well. Shayla was made completely out of Spandex...That's all I could see her moving in. We entered these three costumes into AX 2000's masquerade. (This was written way back in like, 2000, lol!) 2008 Commentary: I will redo this outfit in the future! For a long time people knew me by this outfit, including the Japanese cosplayers that used to frequent AX like URAN2 or Michiru & Luke. It's amazing how far cosplay has come along!
