Construction Details:: The dress was made by my grandmother. My mother and I worked together on the jewelry. The hair is not a wig per se, but a weave (aka a "3/4 wig") mixed with my real hair (in more recent pics, this is replaced by a full wig). Big thanks to TR Rose- I used the tips on her website for the crown and brooch (though I did them slightly differently than hers).
Personal Thoughts:: Not one of my previous costumes attracted nearly as much attention/was stopped for photographs as often as this one. And I don't mind, this costume is one I've wanted for ages. The Daisy in one of the photos is my (step)sister (my grandmother, mother, and I worked together on that costume, too, using the same methods/patterns).
