Got there at about 3-ish, and had to wait in line for a good new minutes. After that I met up with some friends who were already there and we just went around the artist alley and vendor room. Then I went to the charity photo booth with a friend and we got badge sized prints! They were really cool!! Anyway, then we went to a Host Club panel just for funsies, and it was really fun! XD It was very spur of the moment, but those panels make me laugh the most!! I was hoping to karaoke and go to the dating game, but my ride home (bless her soul) wasn't feeling well, so I left earlier with her. I hope she feels better soon! I cannot wait to debut Lucina tomorrow!! Oh, I wore Azusa today, and got a few pics taken LOL! But my guitar was a hassle to take out, so I didn't get to show off my guitar skills LOL. Next time.
Saturday, August 3
So I got to the convention really early for the pre-judging of the cosplay contest. I was really really nervous because 1. I was late because of an weird eyelash malfunction. 2. I've never entered alone. 3. That's it. Thankfully, I printed the whole construction details from my ACP page WOOT WOOT! So all I did was hand that to them and thankfully it got me pretty far. I was a also a bit nervous because I thought my seams weren't very good, but the judges went and checked them and things, but oh well. After that, I waddled (because the shoes were kinda scary) around the con and got lots of pics taken! I didn't realize how popular Lucina is! (but I love her, so of course). I didn't buy anything because I had no money on me, so tomorrow is the BUY ALL THE THINGS DAY! I went with my sister and we walked by some of my friends, and hung out with another group of friends. The events I went to that day were Cosplay Photo Safari, Cosplay Chess (which I surprising survived until almost the end (one of last three pieces on my side); we won!), and for a few 10 minutes of my friends Hetalia panel (I went to support them for all the time I had). After that I ran to the main events area for the cosplay contest and met some really nice people in line. It's true that although the contest is... well... a contest, we are all still one big cosplay family! We were good lucking people left and right and congratulating them everywhere. It was really cool and really nice. Finally I got on stage and although I had more poses I wanted to do... the MC accidentally ended my time on stage by announcing my name again HAHA. OH WELL. DIDN'T MATTER. Afterwards, the rest of the cosplayers went up, and my legs were killing me so I had to sit down. Thankfully, i still could see them. Then the skits went and they were really funny. XD. AWARDS TIME! I wasn't expecting to win... BUT I DID!
I WON SOMETHING!!
Rising Star Beginner! Which means I was the best Beginner class cosplayer! YAY! And by beginner, that means they've never won anything before. : 3 I was so happy! I went upstage all giddy and crap. Afterwards we had nice photos taken of us, and I made some more friends! YAY FRIENDS! Then I just walked around with my already friend afterwards and we just hung out HAHA. We went to the anime dating game panel and it was hilarious. After that, we left. I was sooooo happy to get out of my costume. As much as I loved it... the heels were KILLING ME AHHHHHH MY LEGS WERE SO TIRED IT FELT SO GOOD TO COME OUT OF IT ALL. My feet are still numb while I'm typing this... SUNDAY TIME!
Sunday, August 4
Last day! I happened to miss all the panels I wanted to go to because I was too slow getting ready... Haha... sad day. Dressed as Neko from K! It was actually a super comfy costume... I was rather impressed... (the shoes were... HEAVEN SENT after Lucina... AHHHH even tho they were also high heeled!!) So yeah! I did all my shopping today... bought alot of crap... YEAH! Lots of fun! Then I just hung out with people... It was nice!
Overall, super fun experience... but after the costume contest... Imma have to step up my game... EEK!
