Construction Details:

Skirt: full circle skirt with monet blue and candy blue broadcloth (

Hoodie: Modified Huey 4.0 pattern with peony ponte and pink (fuschia?) jersey knit. Professionally tailored for three dollars.

Hair Pieces: Styrofoam balls spray painted candy pink after sealing with wood glue dilution and sealed with nail polish (Thanks Pocky Princess Darcy!).

Shoes: White Lugs painted with red sharpie and sealed with Scotchguard

Backpack: I bought a real backpack off eBay for an embarrasing amount :-)

Nametag: handwritten on sketch pad and laminated at Kinkos.

Personal Thoughts:

This has been a fun pain in the ass. I was egged onto the idea by a black dude I was rooming with at ALA25 and I loved the idea.
