For the fabric pieces:


Ohhh boy. A lot of topstitching. Lots.


The actual jacket is a fairly heavily modified biker jacket pattern I found, complete with functioning pockets, shoulder pyramid studs, and zippers around the sleeves. Sewed/vinyl appliqued(?) the lightning bolt insets very carefully on the back as well as the pantlegs.





For the non-fabric pieces:


The knuckles/belt buckle were made out of EVA foam, then primed with some Flexbond, then handpainted with acrylic. Zipper pulls and lapel(?) buttons were sculpted with a baking clay, then made into silicone molds and casted with resin. I then primed them with a plastic spray primer and handpainted with acrylic.

Personal Thoughts:

Absolutely loved making this outfit. It's been a long time since I've had the chance to work with pleather/vinyl, and it really provided the right amount of challenge for me.

Wig Review
