Construction Details:

My scarf is heavy interfacing and cotton flannel. I wanted it to be soft since it was going to be touching my face constantly.

The 'capture device' prop prototypes are 2 strips of thick gauge wire (roughly 12g if it were for a piercing) with a heavy interfacing sleeve sewn over it. After the wires were sewn in place, I created a sleeve for it out of the flannel fabric and slowly rolled it in. Hand sewn in places for a perfect fit. The entire capture piece is 100% flexible and holds poses nicely. The thick interfacing also makes it safe to pose with other cosplayers without fear of injuring them or their costume.

The belt is the laziest omg. Don't even look at the rest of the costume. That's a character wig from Amazon with some mild styling. He's just such a low maintenance dude- an expensive wig didn't make sense for him. I literally bought my pants, shirt, and boots. I really just wanted to wear it right away. I'm going to make his jumpsuit for Katsucon. I swear. For now... Please just admire the scarf.

My goggles are still in production. I have a really complicated thing I want to do with it. But it's going to be tight!

Personal Thoughts:

Aizawa is the best character in that show.

He and Present Mic are definitely married. fight me.
