Construction Details:

The entirety of Gran's armor was made from craft foam (Hobby Lobby foam for a fun fact), with judicious amounts of plastidip and a clear coat finish. The sword was slowly whittled sanded to creation from two eva foam mats contact cemented together. A bit of weathering was done on Gran's armor and sword prior to the clear coat (his armor is typically spotless in official art, but I felt the weathering helped details pop out more). The clothing+various belts/straps were sewn.

Eugen's outfit was a sewn commission, and he created his rifle from a mix of EVA foam mats and craft foam over a PVC pipe.

Personal Thoughts:

After playing Granblue for 3+ years, it felt right to cosplay Gran cas a little tribute to all the joy the game has brought me. Getting as many of my friends as possible to fill out the Grancypher crew???I've got an old friend as Eugen so far, and hopefully a Lyria and Rackam joining us soon. I've got many more Granblue cosplans in the future that I'm really excited about!
