Construction Details:

I spent many hours on this costume. The shorts were originally old pants I used to wear for the office. I cut them to a curtain length and then started using hot glue to glue white tape to create the white lines that Soras shorts has. I painted the blue section with fabric paint. The shirt I had, the jacket I bought was originally a zip up sweater then I made it short sleeve and like the shorts used white tape for the white stripes. I made Soras chain using chain from home depot, foil tape and corrugated plastic. I made Sora's fanny packs out of cardboard and several layers of duct tape. The gloves were originally work gloves but then I made them finger less and used electrical tape to wrap a layer around them.

Personal Thoughts:

I love how the costume came out but there was some prop malfunctions. Now you notice that I'm missing Sora's fanny packs on made on the side. That is because they fell apart and would not stay on. Same goes for Sora's gloves, this was right before the photo shoot but I decided to do it anyway. Since I'm doing a similar, kingdom hearts themed cosplay for ConnectiCon, I'll make new fanny packs with better designs.
