About this Costume
Construction Details:
Wig was purchased online in the appropriate color. Then the wig was cut and styled. Using wig hair products to achieve the final look.

Black long sleeved shirt is an already owned item.

Tunic is made out of cotton sateen tan fabric. While sewing this on the machine the edges were hemmed using a rolled hem method. While the main seams are zig zag stitched.

Leggings are made out of thick black stretch material. Which feels like a 2 way stretch. They are sewn together using a zig zag stitch.

Cape is made out of red velvet. The collar has heavy interfacing to give it a sturdy feel. The hemming for the cape also uses a rolled hem method. Then a gold button was added for the closure in the front of the cape.

Sword and shield are made of wood, cut and shaped as needed. Then coated in resin and painted
Personal Thoughts:
The truth is, my girlfriend, Dokudel, didn't want to cosplay Belle with me and I didn't want to cosplay Prince Eric for her. So we compromised on Sleeping Beauty.
