About this Costume
Construction Details:
Coat: Made using Burda Young pattern 7142. The only thing modded was the collar (made it shorter), but follow the pattern directly. The coat is fully lined and I hand painted the maze squares, by using a stencil that I purchase from Hobby lobby and used Tulip's fabric paint. The back of the coat has a painted emblem in which I free hand sketch.
n
nGloves: Made from my own pattern, added diamond studs that I purchase from a vendor in etsy.
n
nShoes: completely made from scratch. I use white loafers as the base. Made the belt straps myself and use e6000 glue to glue the whole entire shoe cover to the loafers. There are zippers on the back of the shoes.
n
nTie: made from a pattern that I found online. http://www.susananakatani.com/how-to-make-a-tie/
n
nBelt: made from scratch. Added the eyelets.
n
nShirt: Modded shirt I found in my closet. Replace the collar with a custom hand made collar. Replace the shirt pockets as well with my own hand made pockets. Took in the shirt to make it more fitted (and less baggy). Replace the buttons and added the straps.
n
nPants: Brought from H&M. They are slim fitted, but stretchy and super comfy!!
n
nHeadsets: Brought from 5 and Below. The easiest part of the costume. Just cut the strap so they are "wireless".
n
nChain belt: Brought some wooden spherers and paint them. Dragon heads were brought on ebay (lucky find) and just combine them together using a stretchy cord.
n
nWig: Purchase from Arda. Used Jaguar classic and my friend style it for me.
Personal Thoughts:
This was a last minute cosplay that took me three weeks to complete. When the character first premier I had to be the first person to complete this costume, so i quickly did my homework, gather all the material and recruited my friend to style my wig. Overall I had a LOT of fun with this costume.
