Construction Details:

Very simple, all I needed to do was wig styling and makeup. The horns were commissioned, and the hoodie was store-bought (I was honestly impressed by the quality).

Personal Thoughts:

My first cosplay in years! It was a simple, casual cosplay, but a lot of fun to wear anyway. I'm a huge Charizard fan - he's my main in Super Smash Bros. 4 - so decided to dress as my favorite character.

Styling Notes

The wig actually looked pretty good out of the bag, and I wore it that way to EGLX 2016 after readjusting the ponytail a bit. But for a later shoot, I had it styled professionally, and it turned out even better!

Wig Review

I wanted to go for an "androgynous Asian pretty boy" look for the character, so decided to use a longer hairstyle. The color and style also scream "fiery redhead tsundere" to me, which kinda fits with the interpretation of Zard as a human bishie, though I was mistaken for a girl on several occasions :3
