Construction Details:

This costume was made completely from scratch out of a whole cow hide. I adjusted a jacket pattern so the zippers were in the correct places and added one for the breast pocket. The zippers are all functional and it's nice to have pockets that function! The whole jacket is fully lined and the sleeves...(Read More) can be rolled down to the wrist. The pants were also altered from a pattern so the waist was higher. These also have pockets and are fully lined so they don't chafe.

Personal Thoughts:

Seemed to be only natural that I would make this version as well! I was so happy to be able to make this and was pretty proud I made it out of real leather. I want to work with more leather in the future.
