Construction Details:

My first corset made, so it's a bit rough; lined in a basic cotton and used plastic boning. The off-white panels are left over wedding satin I had, and the black panels are a sateen black bottom weight with black lace over it for a texture. The gold trim is a painted ribbon with painted pearls, and the top trim was also painted to match the gold colour. The skirt is 8 feet of green sateen bottom weight, gathered at the waist band, and then tucked using a super easy safety pin method I found online to give the bustle look I wanted. The bottoms are a print cotton lined in another cotton, closed with skirt hooks. Then striped leggings worn under black stockings with the white flowers attached, under pink stockings. The arm ruffle is made from the same green bottom weight, and the glove was bought online. The cuff was bought from a costume store, then painted silver and the gem attached. The nails, cuff gem, and ring gem were all paitned using a dark red nail polish over black nailpolish. The horns were bought then painted, and the black beads are mardi gras beads attached where necessary.

Personal Thoughts:

After making one sakizo costume, I can't stop. I love dying.

Styling Notes

The wig is actually three different wigs. The bottom layer wig is a two-toned ashblond curly wig with green wefts underneath. The middle wig is a more natural blond curly wig, and the top wig is a light yellow-blond wig with volume. The top wig is attached only at the front to make inserting the sock I used for the top volume easier to style, and the bottom wig is split down the middle and attached to the middle of the middle wig
