Construction Details:

5' PVC pipe for the staff and end cap. Craft foam for the blade holder. 22"x8" EPS foam board for the blade (a smoothfoam.com product NOT housing insulation).

Personal Thoughts:

Needed to keep the prop under 6'6" due to con weapons policies. Tried to be as accurate as possible to the height and dimensions as drawn in the anime.
