Construction Details:

The dress, the arm warmers, and leg warmers were made primarily of white fleece and red felt. The felt was a bit hard to work with, but with some much needed help from veterans in the sewing and getting darts inserted, I was able to get the shape nearly accurate. The capelet was something I made previously for a more casual Christmas outfit before, and I used foam stars to make the star in the middle. The "tie" is not entirely accurate as I chose to use a custom trim pattern I found. Yellow ribbon was hot-glued onto black ribbon to make the bows attached to the arm warmers (It was difficult to attach bows to the store-bought stockings I used). Gloves and boots were store-bought.

Personal Thoughts:

Having been exposed to this Vocaloid first and fallen in love with the technology and voice upon hearing her, I would eventually want to cosplay as some variant of this blonde virtual diva. With the winter holidays coming around the corner, I decided I wanted to cosplay her Christmas outfit from the Hatsune Miku: Project Diva games! This was definitely a fun and comfortable outfit to wear!
