Personal Thoughts:

I first heard of the film "A Clockwork Orange" from Rob Zombie's video for the song "Never gonna stop". My former stepdad told me that the video was styled after the movie. Then later in life, I saw it again in a movie countdown on Bravo! called "Bravo's 40 even scarier movie moments". It was a follow-up to their previous countdown "Bravo's 100 scariest movie moments". The movie was ranked #2 on the countdown and featured the infamous "Singing in the rain" scene.

Some years later, I started seeing the film being mentioned on WatchMojo.com countdowns as well as the Nostalgia critic. So after watching some of the scenes they featured, I became curious and started to watch whatever scenes and reviews of the film that were uploaded to youtube. Soon after, I bought the dvd. The film did not disappoint. It's actually a very complex and intellegent movie that tackles the nature of free will and moral choice as well as both the savagry and civility of man.
