Construction Details:

The guitar itself was made from two pieces of foam that were cut out into circular shapes for that “axe” shape. Small slits were cut into the two pieces and fitted to the foam board which made the handle. (Seriously though. A MIRACLE that it’s still holding together.) The top had another piece of foam board glued on top of the strings to hold them in place properly. Everything else was pretty much just bottle caps, duct tape, and paint. Duct tape is amazing for those who haven’t invested in trying it yet. Maybe not for cosplay, as you can clearly see it in the construction, but it makes a good general sturdy base.
