Construction Details:

Drafted a pattern for the gloves, hat, and shirt, sculpted the bracelets and hat details from Super Sculpey, sewed together the hat, shirt, and gloves, painted stripes onto the hat, spraypainted the bracelets and cabochons (for the knuckle and hat studs), glued the cabochons onto the hat and gloves, made leather arm wrapping out of awful pleather I had sitting around with snaps to keep it wrapped around my arm, and installed a wire in the hat to keep the wand standing up firmly.

Personal Thoughts:

I absolutely love Araki's cover art for some of the volumes, so it was only a matter of time until I tried to replicate one of them. Although it was challenging, I definitely had fun trying to mimic his over-the-top outfits.

Styling Notes

Had a friend butcher the bangs and sides to match the artwork. Used a little wax to keep the wig up at the sides as well.
