Construction Details:

Modified thrift store trench coat with suede and satin details and foam and paperboard armor. The jacket was taken in to open better and to match the line art. Gold detailing is interface reinforced satin pressed to give the proper edge. The shoulder boards and belt are a mix of craft foam for body covered in metallic card stock. Spikes are more of the paper, secured using candy apple sticks. The three stars are decorative nails pinched to the proper shape and painted gold.

I intend to plus the armor aspects for AX, and add some more details that didn't make the cut for Fanime. The photos also don't show the necklace worn with it since it was forgotten in the room at the time.

Personal Thoughts:

A bit more difficult to construct than expected, and this was the alternate "easy" backup costume for Kill la Kill. Still, I'm very pleased with how it came out.
