Construction Details:

The bodice was made of black suiting fabric, the skirt was made of two different varieties of heavy cotton as well as a woven upholstery fabric for the detailed panels. The skirt is invertedly pleated but they don't like to stay in place. The necklace is made of sculpy and a velvet ribbon and the comb was made with a leftover comb I had used on another project that I painted and glued some flowers and a butterfly motif on so it wouldn't look so plain. The ribbons are secured on the back of the butterfly with hot glue

Personal Thoughts:

I had never tackled a gigantic ball gown before so I ultimately leapt at the chance to do it. I am insanely proud of this dress and I really kinda consider it my crowning achievement. Sure there are some things that I really want to fix on it, but it shows how long of a way if come with my sewing :)

Styling Notes

My wig was styled by my friend eyliuhs while I was spending the weekend at her house for the convention and it was styled the day I was to debut Anna :)
