Construction Details:

I made three of these jackets. I drafted most of the pattern myself though it was designed so that other people in my group could easily size my modifications based on a commercial pattern so that the group would match. We purchased the small patches but I did the big back applique myself. It has a back lining and facings in the front and both pockets are fully functional.

I really hate the straps that I've got right now as they were a last minute fix it solution. I'll be making new ones soon along with a pair of pants since I don't like the fit of this pair and making my own means I can then say I made them. It also means I can easily shift the waistband up a hair and change the tailoring so that my thighs look slimmer and more accurately noodle like.

Personal Thoughts:

This is a really fun costume to wear.
