Construction Details:

The armor is make from .5inch EVA foam skinned in fabric and sewn together. The embroidery is all vectored and done by myself. The rifle mas machined from .25, .5, and .75 inch MDF and glued together with wood glue. The rifle is powered by 7 AA batteries in the clip. 4 power the laser beam on top and 3 light the polycarbonate tube in the middle which has 2 LED bars and 30 LEDs lighting it. It weighs roughly 15 pounds.

Personal Thoughts:

This costume was fun to wear but very hot! The gun weighs about 15 pounds and I made it in 36 hours. I've loved Xcom since I played the first game in elementary school and was so happy when the remake was announced that I had to cosplay from it.
