Construction Details:

The white shirt and saddle shoes came from my closet for this, and they were basically the only things that did. The suit and pants were a struggle - Lindsay (Lin-ZB) and I tried very hard to follow a pattern, and succeeded in the pants, making them fully-functional and with pockets, but fucked up the blazer a little out of confusion and ended up winging it. It ended up better than we had envisioned, though, considering. The suit is made from a surprisingly stretchy suiting fabric, and the cape is an imitation dupioni and apparel lining.

The cape is attached with giant snaps that hide under the lapels. The waistcoat is made from a Casa satin (for lining) and a hella expensive brocade bought somewhere in New York whose price made me want to punch someone. The cravat is made of a white crepe left over from Aladdin, and the wand is handmade. Magical Me was graciously made by my friend Charlotte.
