Construction Details:

Modified a white leotard, made it sleeveless and added a collar and the tie in the middle. Used excess on the front of the belt to make the flaps. The base of the hip attachments is made of a canvas belt and using a glue gun to glue foam pieces. Puck lights are added on the 2 circular sides of the belt. There is wire inbetween the white floating strips to make it stand on its own and float. I used clear plastic folders to make the glowing floating sides, adding green/blue paint on the rims. The arm gloves and leggings were modified from shiny black leggings bought from Ebay. Velcro is used to attach foam onto it the arms and leg. The headpieces were also modeled with foam. I would spend a small amount of time a week to construct this so it took several months. I am very happy with the results. I will provide more details in my blog.

Personal Thoughts:

I love this costume, it is the first one I've made almost completely from scratch. I made it as close to the art/figma as I could. Debuted at Otakon 2012.
