Construction Details:

Kanshou and Bakuya were made out of three main pieces of wood. The yin-yang "buttons" were cannibalized from a few wood yo-yo sets. They took roughly 5 months to complete, but they came out perfect and everyone thought I had them commissioned/bought offline. One of a kind pieces that will be buried with me. hahahaha

No wig, it's my actual hair being held up by a mix of hair styling wax and hairspray along with a spray on temporary dye.

Costume was bought off of Milanoo.com. A few alterations had to be made since they made the costume a little too small despite my giving of my measurements. -_-

Personal Thoughts:

This was my first cosplay done in 2013 for AX. Costume was bought but the swords are hand-made from wood. Although the hair didn't come out the right way due to not enough temp. dye, it was a blast being my favorite character.
