About this Costume
Construction Details:
The tights and undershirt (and the little tie thing and the belt) are a striped spandex that I dyed grey. I patterned them off clothes that I owned. The tunic is a cool textured silk that found at Fabrics R Us in San Jose, CA. The cape is just interlock knit (Bleck! never again). The collar thing and the gloves are a combination of off-white vinyl and a lace trim, cut in half and stitched on. I sewed the glove myself. They were a bitch. Don't do it unless you are using breathable stretch fabric, just don't. The shoes were embellished with some gold spandex and a leather needle (took so long, and totally wasn't worth it). We don't talk about the gold arm thingies.
Personal Thoughts:
I loved my construction of this costume but absolutely hated how it looked on my body. Just the wrong silhouette for my figure I suppose. I want to do an original design take on Cornelius though cause I really like a lot of the things about his color scheme and details.

I also made my Velvet's costume (with the help of the cosplayer herself, of course).
