Construction Details:

The only thing I sewed for this costume was the hoody, but it was just an alteration to bring it in from a L to an M. I have a belt buckle with a dragon on it that I painted with clear nail polish mixed with ink so that it was the colors of Spike himself. The studs on the back of the Hoody are painted the same way.

Personal Thoughts:

I don't really like how this turned out, which is why I am in the process of remaking it. Keep an eye out...I guess.

How was the wig colored?

Styling Notes

I died the wig using the FW ink method twice. Once in light green for the entire wig and once in dark green just for the spikes. It was actually easier than I anticipated. I just covered the light green with saran wrap and taped it off like you would when painting. Then I sprayed just the spike area and let it dry hanging upside down on the wig head, suspended with tape from a clothesline. I spiked the center section using got2B glued spiking glue and aqua net.

Wig Review

This was the third time I used this same wig so it was destined to look awful from the start. I loved my dye job but I hated the spikes. I'm so happy I threw this away. haha!
