All seams on the shirt are self enclosed. I made the trim on the collar by pleating a velvet ribbon and hand stitching in the gold. The collar is properly understitched and has a small hook and eye closure at the top. The shirt is made of a medium weight cotton.
The tunic is a thick wool and started out as a light cream color. I dyed it blue before cutting and I like how the color came out. It's a bit like wearing a blanket though and when I eventually make another version of this costume I'll use a much lighter material. The trim is also entirely enclosed and no stitching shows on the outside or inside.
The pants are a cotton twill and are huge. They're ridiculously comfortable. They have three buttons running down the front and draw string closures below the knee. All but the side seam and inseam are self enclosed.
I drafted the pattern for the tunic, but only augmented the pattern for the pants and shirt. Though that mostly just included redrafting the collar on the shirt and changing sewing instructions around so that it's more stable.
