Construction Details:

Used a military jacket pattern for the top, and just left the sleeves off and hemmed the bottom accordingly. Used the tailcoat pattern from a butler costume for the tails, and just extended them. Used a white bottomweight fabric to try and keep at least the pants as not-see-through as possible. Lined the top in a teal satin, because I learned that a more green-tealish coloured satin doesn't exist at JoAnns or HobbyLobby. Used what I originally thought was teal glitter ribbon (it actually turned out to be tape but it still worked???) for the trim on the top. Used gold multi-stretch gold for the trim on the end of the tails. I was able to use left-overs from Ren's lining to do the collar in the brink coloured satin and used gold bias tape for the stripes. Used a darker tealish satin for the sash and made my own stripes via ironing ribbon into half-size.
Used silver satin and the gold bias tape for the waistband on the pants, and used heatnbond on the teal lining fabric for the rhombuses on the pants.
