Construction Details:

Tried to find a thicker fabric to prevent as much seeing-though as possible, without using something super heavy, and ended up with a slight one-way stretch bottomweight fabric.

Used a simple pant pattern for the bottoms and sewed the angular seams in the pants before actually sewing the pieces together to try and simplify it some. I used a satin brown for the waistband. I learned that apparently orange glittery ribbon doesn't exist, so I ended up with a taupe coloured roll, and mixed metallic gold, and plain orange paint with water and put several layers of that over the ribbon to get it a slightly orange colour, before sewing it on. The rhombuses are orange satin put on with heat'n'bond.

The top is a military front-close pattern, altered as needed. I was nervous about the arrow but I'm really glad that I was able to attach the lining to it like the rest of the jacket. I constantly forget to sew all the jacekt detail before lining, so the side paneling stitching is on the lining. The brown paneling is heat'n'bond (and I realized after I put it on that there was more than just the sides so it's two-layer) and used the same glittery ribbon from the pants for the trim. I completely made the sleeves and attached them to the jacket, then did the shoulder cut-outs and double-roll hemmed it for aesthetic purposes. Used a gold four-way stretch fabric for the bottom of the sleeves (used only for the way the fabric looks), and used the ribbon for the connecting trim.
The collar is the same brown satin used on the waistband, and I just used a simple gold bias tape for the stripes, and cut a zipper down for the closure (don't necessarily close though)
I bought a ton of two-twist orange cord for the fringe, and used the same gold stretch for the shoulder pieces.
