Construction Details:

I tried to follow some of the tutorials for his cape online, and really couldn't get any of them to work out for me, so I ended up self/free-patterning his hood/coif and chaperone.
I used a pattern for his pants, and ended up having to turn the stripes into an extension of the circumference of the pants due to them being too small after making them. They symbol was painted onto a shirt using acrylic paint. His cape was the last thing done and it literally was my last remains of the red fabric, trimmed into the right shape.

Personal Thoughts:

A rather fun character to cosplay, I originally wanted to cosplay John, but after a friend said she wanted to, I switched to Dave.
