Construction Details:

No real costume construction happened, I painted the symbol on the shirt using a mix of acrylic paint and fabric paint. The "gems" on the bracelet were resin cast, then painted over to match the symbol. I painted a pair of Converse, and painted in the little shoe details, and then laced them using a clear fishing line to give it the illusion of not having laces. The horns were made with Model Magic, and painted with acrylic paint and sealed in Modge Podge.

Her braids were probably the most frustrating because I wanted them to actually be braids, look quasi-real, and be long like hers. I ended up using yard to make them. Each braid consists of nine strands of six foot long yarn, and braided. It's bobbypinned into the wig, so I could still use the base wig solo if desired.

Personal Thoughts:

Meenah is fresh to death and I knew from her first introduction that I wanted to cosplay her. Along with that, I managed to snag one of the inexpensive underwater disposables and get a friend to offer to watch me half-drown in a pool to try and take pictures.
