Construction Details:

The GX-001 identifier is my own version identifier, starting with GX-000 which was one of my first props. The GX-002 will have lights, and the GX-003 will have a mechanical interior which opens and closes. The internals of the GX-001 were constructed to allow room for all of these upgrades. The handle, triggers, trigger guard, components, fore stock, muzzle, and center revolver are all cast in Smooth-On Onyx Slow. The barrel is rear piece are PVC and plexiglass. The trigger guard, triggers, component parts, and handle covers were all originally 3d printed, molded and cast. The handle was made from MDF and the center revolver was cast from the inside of a PVC pipe with styrene half rounds on the interior

Personal Thoughts:

A very long build for this prop, nearly 5 years. I spent most of that time building up my workshop to the point where I could make all the components in-house without having to outsource anything.
