Construction Details:

It took a long time to hand sew (since I didn't own a sewing machine at the time), but I was able to make the shirt, the skirt, the bow, and the cape. The shoulder pads are actually two halves of a giant plastic easter egg that I painted, and the face shield is two pieces of light blue cooling gels...(Read More) bought from one of the local film supply stores, and molded into place. I was difficult to seat. The headphones were an old broken pair that I painted.

Personal Thoughts:

This was my first attempt at anime Cosplaying. This was a lot of fun. I was stopped many times for pictures, and even had a small child ask to have her photo taken with me. I felt like a super hero.
