Construction Details:

MK II headphones were sprayed up Sony Headphones that I got online and hacked the cord off of (also added an additional cardboard piece to the top since it had an open gap in the headphone), and the MK I backpack/headphones were graciously provided by Chas.

Coveralls were made by Anime Angel...(Read More) Blue and will be upgraded to include a hood in the near future.

Thanks to Chas and Anime Angel Blue for making this costume a reality!

Personal Thoughts:

So once upon a time I saw a little show called "Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt" after having been aghast at the trailer for months. Wasn't too crazy about it until Peachberri told me there was an episode that made fun of Transformers.

I gave it a second try, loved the episode, and went back and watched the everloving crap out of the rest. ;-D

Fast forward to about a year ago; I had ordered a wig off Taobao to use for Brief, but never got around to doing the costume since I had to prioritize other outfits for my last year of masquerade exhibition. After a few months, I almost sold the thing when I thought I was going to miss out on the summer of promos that I knew was coming after FUNimation announced the dub. But, I stuck it through and as fate would have it, I was able to pull everything together in time to do AX 2012 since that was the start of a new series of adventures...

...And erasure of bad memories from Otakon thanks to rocking this costume at Otakon 2012 on the behalf of FUNimation. ;-D

TL;DR - close call, but I'm glad I kept it and was able to get everything else together in time because GOOD LORD was this a ton of fun! Hoping to wear this one out for quite some time...*_*
