Construction Details:

Instead of making Omnimon with my usual craft foam armor, I decided to make him more durable by using cardboard as the base. Each piece of armor was custom sized to me and was coated with two layers of resin to keep the cardboard from absorbing any spray paint that would later coat each piece. The helmet took three days to assemble, all made without the use of a pattern--just some cardboard, many open tabs of Omnimon references and a sharpie to doodle out the necessary pieces.
