Construction Details:

The horns were made using an Apoxie Sculpt by forming a base around an aluminum and polyfil backing. Then adding in the details after the first layer hardened.

The painting was done in a few steps. First, gesso was applied then dried. Then a layer of watered down Acrylic fabric paint in rust was washed into the crevices of the details to give it more depth. Then a blue and magenta acrylic coat was put onto the horns. Finally, they were enamel coated to give it a shine, and protect the paint.

Then the horns were attached to PVC piping, and leather handle wraps were made. The fur was then stitched on using pouches full of polyfil to keep the fur from collapsing in on itself.
