About this Costume
Construction Details:
The red garment and black/red wrapings were created in March 2011 (with A. Devonshire). Regarding the body paint, I decided to go with Temptu body paint. To do the tattoos for Sakura-Con 2011, it took 2 people 6 hours to do the patterns. Luckily for this year, I managed to get 7 volunteers, for Sakura-Con 2012 and even then. We were doing "split" shifts and at times, actually had 7 people painting at the same time. It took 3 hours and we accomplished more detailing compared to last year's design.

Avenger's blades Tawrich and Zarich were made to go with my cosplay for Sakura-Con 2012. The materials I used were; foam board, spray paint and acrylic paint with wall filler. The reason for the wall filler if your asking? I had spare wall filler in my tool box and decided to use it to fill in the porous texture of the foam at the end of the blades. After applying the wall filler, I sanded the wall filler to make the blade ends smooth and spray painted the ends. The next step, painting the details. Avenger's props are easy to make, and it took me 20 hours due to detailing.

To sum things up. The clothing was extremely easy but the tattoos was the hardest part when cosplaying as Avenger.
Personal Thoughts:
For me, cosplaying as Avenger (Anri Manyu) is a fun and detailed process. Read the construction information (paragraph 1) on why it is quite the process.
