Construction Details:

The gun was made from plexiglass painted black. The chamber actually spins and can hold bullets. The bullets were casted out of resin by making a mold of a permanent marker tip. The inside of each mold was painted with a bronze and copper powder to get the colour of the bullet.

Personal Thoughts:

This gun was made for Sailor Anime's Gilbert cosplay. She is the one who did the detail paint job on the gun and she did an amazing job at it! There was a lot of restarting on this project as I had never made a gun before. First it was made out of some plywood which while was a good template for the final product was definitely a bit too light weight and broke easily. Hopefully someday I'll be able to go back and redo the gun and make it even better.
