Construction Details:

Bought a Red Karate Gi off eBay. Modified it by cutting the sleeves, hemming the sides and adding elestic bands to the pants. Fabric painted the Bushin Kanji on the shirt. Bought a black mesh shirt and added white fabric to the sleeves. Bought the wig off eBay and styled it using Elmer's glue. Made the fighting gloves from scratch using green padding and yellow fabric. Used extra yellow fabric for the yellow wraps under the gloves and reinforced them down using yellow hockey tape. White Sneakers were purchased from a local A.J. Wright. I painted the Shoes using acrylic leather paint and also used wood putty to cover the brand logo that were originally on the shoes. Added Black shoelaces. (this took up the most time due to desired precision)

Personal Thoughts:

Costume is a little bit of a hassle to wear at times, but after all that hard work, I was happy with the reception it received. PROFOUND SADNESS! Ryu cosplayer: Izunadrop247 Cody Cosplayer: Eric
