Construction Details:

All of the sewing was done by my friend Valerie W. I only know that her other alias is "Wabisuke", but quite frankly I don't even know if she is on these boards. I made the head screw and the scythe because I - again - prop mechanic over here. The head screw was made of an elastic band. On one side PVC piping glued for the bottom of the bolt capped with a circular foam sheet piece. The other end - the head - was constructed by shaping styrofoam into the screw shape and the covering it with foam sheets. All was spray painted. The scythe was constructed with PVC piping and a foam board to make the scythe blade. The scythe blade was connected using epoxy for stability.
