Commission for a friend who does not have ACP (or cosplay any longer to my knowledge)


Inspiration: Well, I made this for a friend for a Jem group. Most of the group bailed, and it almost didn't happen at all, but things came through in the end. Based around the char design of the doll, except added a 'modesty skirt' because they didn't want to just wear a leoptard over tights. (I think I did a decent job of making it blend in well with the rest of the otufit) Since the person who was gonna wear it decided not to, and I spent a fair amount of time on it...had to convince another friend to wear it...albeit briefly. Wasn't about to let it not get worn at all.

Favorite Aspect: It came out looking pretty much like I wanted, barring a few small things here and there.

Least Favorite Aspect: The two types of lamé were a pain to sew, in different ways. Most of the material was a pain, actually. Since it was all stretchy dance/swim material.

Hardest Task: Sewing batting and stiff interfacing into stretchy material, onto another stretchy material. Also sizing it for someone who wasn't me, and wasn't there while I was making most of it.
