Construction Details:

First costume I made totally by myself. Looking at it now it shows, but we all started somewhere. Cheap fabric and baggy simplicity civil war pattern, cheap party wig, wal-mart galoshes for boots...it's got everything.

Favorite Aspect: Having a cape to swish around

Least Favorite Aspect: Uncomfortable boots in the initial version, I later used (correct) shoes but no pics of that I can find. Had assumed that he had boots just like the oher generals. Also, I didn't do the 'open chest flap' mainly because I would have had to take it apart to re-line it...I figure, he must have been chilly sometimes...

Easiest Task: Had the base costume already as I converted it from a not-so-good Nephrite costume I had made but never worn to a con.

Hardest Task: Trying, and not really succeeding, in making the costume fit snugly when the pattern design was very baggy.
