Construction Details:

I had planned to do this costume the previous summer with my friend Nathalie (my Chidori) and so we worked hard on her costume during the winter but of course I left mine for the day before the con. I started at about 10am and was finished by like 4am the next day. I ran into some trouble with the sleeves fitting into the arm's eye, but I eventually got it right. Looking at the pictures now, I should have compensated for my long arm's and legs a bit more, but oh well. The black is a poly/cotton/rayon that I have a whole bolt of and the grey is just double fold bias tape. I decided to use a zipper as closure for the coat but I didn't want the tag to bother me so I put it in upside down. It work out really well. It was nearly invisible! I styled the wig at the con and it turned out alright. Its not my best piece of work but I only wore it for an afternoon anyway. The shoes are super comfy Clarks that I inherited from my Grandpa (they were a joy to wear after my morning in 4 inch heels and a nice break before my evening in 3 inch heels. lol!) Personal Thoughts:

I loved making and wearing this costume! My friend said she wanted to do FMP and I had never seen it so I watched it and was totally excited to do Sousuke! This photo shoot was a blast too! OscarC did a great job for us!
