Construction Details:

I don't know why I do these things, but all the outlining in white or black is machine embroidery via the satin stitch. Tried a few different things (paint, etc) and nothing looked good to me, settled on that, which kind of makes the jersey almost too classy for old thuggin' Duel. Had to resort to plain cotton because no matter what I tried, including various interfacings, I couldn't really get said satin stitch to work well with stretch/knits. Then again, I hate knits so we don't really get along. Pants will be replaced with proper pants, I have the fabric, just didn't have time to make them (and had wrongly assumed I already had proper pants I could use until the day before). Shackle/handcuff/bracelet things may also get a redo, same story. Night before, went OHSHI- FORGOT ABOUT THOSE TOO

So yeah, lots of last minute things. Wig could also do with a little more trimming and styling. Yeah. Also night before. I win, don't I?

Also, after hunting high and low for small chunky hoop clip-ons for him, I managed to forget to even wear them.

FInally a new IIdx costume after like 2 years of planning it. This was supposed to be my "easy" costume since the new Shem had some major complications and I didn't want to flake out on everyone YET AGAIN. However, I then managed to make it more complicated than I needed to. Because I'm special like that. Go me.
